2024 NONPROFIT FOOD BOOTH APPLICATION
The Rotary Club of Brazil welcomes the participation of nonprofit organizations wanting to raise funds for
the benefit of their organization. Participating Religious, Civic, Fraternal, Veterans and Charitable
organizations may or may not be IRS 501 © (3) but must have at least an IRS 501 status.

Booth Rental Fee is NONREFUNDABLE except at the discretion of the Brazil Rotary.
2024 Non-Profit Food Booth Applications must be received by June 10, 2024.
Examples of possible food booth areas:
11 x 20 $154 ($0.70 /sq. ft.)
11 x 25 $176 ($0.64 /sq. ft.)
20 x 30 $360 ($0.60 /sq. ft.)
Confirmation of application will be by email or mail by June 14, 2024.
Set-up procedures and operation restrictions for the Rotary Club of Brazil Fourth of July Celebration.
Rotary Club of Brazil will assign booth locations.
No walk around sales permitted. Must only sell from your purchased location.
Food booth setup – Please contact Roger to schedule food booth setup. Please be courteous to other
venders and park personnel.
It is expected Booths will be open for serving at least by 5:00pm July 4 - 6. Booths may open earlier
those days if they want.
Food booths will comply with any applicable state/local health department regulations.
Rotary Club of Brazil is not responsible for any claims resulting from the consumption of any food
or beverages from any food booth.
Dump graywater into respective drains. DO NOT SET UP OVER DRAINS.
Tents must be fire retardant to comply with the fire code.
Each booth must have a 5 lb. ABC Dry Chemical fire extinguisher that has been serviced within
the past year with a tag showing the date and by whom it was serviced.
Food booths using deep fat fryers or open flames are a special hazard and MUST have a 40 BC
Rated fire extinguisher on hand.
The Park Board does not allow any sawdust or wood chips to be used. If ground moisture is a
problem, contact the Rotary.
Space must be cleaned, and trash discarded after tear down.
Rotary Club of Brazil does not regulate food items sold except for the following:
o The following items may not be sold:
corn dogs, funnel cakes, elephant ears, fried Oreos, fried Snickers, any flavor of Shake-
Ups, cotton candy, popcorn, caramel/candied apples, sno-cones
Booth removal on July 6th after the Carnival has closed. FOR SAFETY OF FAIR PARTICIPANTS, No
vehicles WILL BE allowed in the Food Booth area until the Carnival has closed.
All food booths will be asked to provide their net profit or what total donation they received from their
for-profit partner so that the total impact of the event can be documented each year and so amounts can
be reported to Rotary International. Rotary will not publish individual organization profits, just a total.
